Waters closed to ocean trawling for the Southern Fish trawl restricted fishery

The waters specified in the  table below (Clause 176  of the Fisheries Management (General) Regulation 2010) are waters in which the  class of commercial fishing that consists of the taking of fish by commercial  fishers by use of an otter trawl net (fish) or a Danish seine trawl net (fish)  is prohibited.

The whole of the waters of Twofold Bay together with its bays and inlets west of a line drawn from Worang Point (North Head) southerly to Red Point (South Head).

The whole of the waters of Merimbula Bay together with its bays and inlets west of a line drawn from the eastern extremity of Long Point southerly to the easternmost extremity of Haycock Point.
