This notification takes effect on publication in the New South Wales Government Gazette and remains in force for a period of five (5) years from the date of publication. Note 1: The purpose of this fishing closure is to implement additional protection measures for the Grey Nurse Shark. Note 2: This closure does not affect the operation of Clauses 265 and 267 of the Fisheries Management (General) Regulation 2010. Fisheries Management Act 1994 (NSW), Section 8 Notification, Grey Nurse Shark Protection as specified in the NSW Government Gazette Number 96 (PDF, 34.8 KB), 21 September 2012 at page 4035.
