Montague Island and the Tollgate Islands have been declared grey nurse shark critical habitats to protect this endangered species. Grey nurse sharks also near Brush Island, Jimmies Island, Black Rock, Burrewarra Point and Dalmeny Headland. Special rules apply when you dive and snorkel at these locations.
