Careers in forest management

Forestry is an industry with a wide range of careers - a high-tech industry where you generate skills which can be transferred to international opportunities.

The industry offers careers at each step of the timber process - from planting the seed and sustainably managing the forest, to harvesting the trees and processing the timber.

A career in forestry could see you based outdoors in the bush, cultivating plants, operating high-tech machines, liaising with customers and contractors, and managing one of Australia's major natural resources.
