Walk & talk tours at Cumberland State Forest

A walk & talk program for community groups is offered at Cumberland State Forest in Sydney's north-west. The program is free and runs for 1 hour. (Please note: The walk & talk program is not intended for commercial operators.)

  • You will learn about Forests NSW and sustainable forest management from one of our Rangers.
  • The walk & talk includes a short presentation and a guided walk along one of the trails at Cumberland State Forest.
  • The Ranger will point out tree species and talk about the native flora and fauna of Cumberland.
  • You will also learn about the recreation opportunities available in state forests.

The walk & talk can be tailored to your group's area of interest. If your group has a particular interest, please discuss it when booking.

Bookings are essential. Contact the Information Centre for bookings and enquiries on 1300 655 687, or email cumberland@sf.nsw.gov.au.

Location

Cumberland State Forest is situated in Sydney's north-west. The address of the Visitor Information Centre (and entrance to the forest) is 95 Castle Hill Road, West Pennant Hills NSW 2125.
