Emissions Intensive Industries
The NSW Trade Exposed Emissions Intensive Industry (TEEII) Summit was held at Parliament House on Tuesday 17 June 2008.
It was attended by around 150 delegates from the aluminium, steel, cement, paper, manufacturing finance and agriculture industries.
The summit provided a forum for industry to discuss implications for the trade exposed emissions intensive industries arising from the proposed national emissions trading scheme and from the mandatory renewable energy target.
The summit featured Dr Brian Fisher from Concept Economics and other industry organisations and businesses. Available presentations are listed below.

Issues paper
A short issues paper was prepared for the Summit by the NSW Department of State and Regional Development with input from the NSW Departments of Water & Energy and Primary Industries.
The purpose of the issues paper was to provide a summary of general issues arising for TEEIIs and for government from the advent of emissions trading schemes and higher mandatory renewable energy targets.
