Exploration NSW Minerals program

The Minerals program was intended to promote an increased level of exploration activity in the state's established mineral provinces and underexplored covered regions. The provision of new geoscience data would encourage development of new lead-zinc-silver, copper and gold, precious metal and other mineral mining projects.

Minerals Projects

The following Minerals projects were funded by the Exploration NSW initiative:

  • Cargelligo Geological Mapping Project
  • Cobar Regolith Mapping Project
  • Cobar/Bourke Geological Mapping Project
  • Koonenberry Geological Mapping Project
  • Lachlan Orogen Synthesis
  • Regional Geophysical Surveys
