Mine Health and Safety Act 2004 and Mine Health and Safety Regulation 2007

The Nomination of Operator guidance note and form is available for mine holders to nominate a mine operator under the duties of the Mine Health and Safety Act 2004 and Mine Health and Safety Regulation 2007 which came into force on 1 September 2008.

Notification of incidents occuring on 1 September 2008 or after must be notified to NSW DPI using the MEX-NIM Notification of Incident Form below.
