Minerals & petroleum titles conveyancing searches

Conveyancing searches are usually undertaken by members of the public or solicitors acting on behalf of clients who are purchasing property or land where a report is required, listing details of any mining or exploration titles and applications (if any) that affect a particular parcel of land.   Refer to the primefacts and Landholder’s Right sections of the website for further information regarding exploration, petroleum and mining titles.

Online Search Facility

The payment facility regarding online conveyancing searches is being upgraded and consequently the online search facility has temporarily been disabled.  

Hard copy search

An Application for Search form Conveyance Search form - PDF 40Kb should be completed.  A fee of  $55 is applicable.

A plan or diagram showing the location of the property in relation to Parish portion numbers or lot /DP numbers must be attached to the form to assist identification from Departmental records.
