Hawkesbury forest growth chambers
- The Hawkesbury Forest Project, a collaborative project between UNSW, UTS, UWS and DPI funded by the Australian Greenhouse Office to investigate the impact of climate change on Australian forests commenced in June, 2005. This is an international project with involvement of Professor Sune Linder of the Swedish Agricultural University, Prof Rich Norby of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Prof Ram Oren of Duke, North Carolina.
- IEA Bioenergy Task 38, an international collaborative project working on developing methods and promoting best practice in assessing greenhouse gas balances of biomass and bioenergy systems. Dr Annette Cowie's role as National Team Leader is continuing.
- Department of Environment and Conservation, Narama Mine: Application of recycled organics in mine site rehabilitation.
- Australian Coal Association Research Program, Minerals Council: Use of soil amendments to maximise forest products on mine lands.
