Technology Transfer Unit, Australian Cotton Research Institute

Industry and Investment NSW (I&I NSW) cotton extension staff at Australian Cotton Research Institute (ACRI) join with other extension staff from The Cotton CRC, the Cotton Research and Development Corporation and the Queensland Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation to transfer research outcomes to cotton farmers including:

  • Best Management Practice (BMP)
  • Guidelines for Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
  • Insecticide Resistance Management (IRM), 
  • Weed Management  and,
  • Natural Resource Management (NRM).

An integral part of the extension team is the Technology Resource Centre based at ACRI.
The centre collects and distributes resource materials via web and hardcopy and provides a valuable resource back-up to producers Most  of the activity of the centres  information delivery is web based. http://www.cottoncrc.org.au
