Chris LISLE
Research interests
- Analysis of multi phase experiments
- Factor analytic analyses
- Experimental design
- Linear mixed models
Background
Chris Lisle joined the then Department of Agriculture in February 2002. Chris was employed as a Biometrician to design and analyse the NSW cereal crop experiments. Work at Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute involves collaborating with researchers/breeders and agronomists through-out NSW. Recently the system of variety trials has shifted focus to a wider aspect, which involves collaborating with Biometrician and researchers Australia wide. Work involves designing field trials which sometime lead into laboratory experiments (Multi-phase). Designs are calculated by using the spatial design generator DiGGer. Analysis involves analysing multiple field experiments across years, states and years (MET analysis). Analyses are completed using ASReml.
*NSW Department of Primary Industries was formed on July 1, 2004 through an amalgamation of NSW Agriculture, NSW Fisheries, State Forests of NSW and the NSW Department of Mineral Resources.
