Background
Guy’s PhD focused on understanding stakeholders to improve wildlife management. He has worked on controversial wildlife scenarios including: wild horse management, flying foxes, peri-urban kangaroos, peri-urban fox and cat control.

Current projects
Guy is currently working on the wild dog demonstration site project funded by the Invasive Animals CRC. The project includes northern NSW, southern QLD and a remote site in the NT’s Tanami Desert. Guy’s work involves facilitating management plans with stakeholder groups, monitoring the effectiveness of control programs and undertaking associated research on wild dogs, foxes and other predators. With Peter Fleming, Guy provides training in pest animal monitoring for public agency staff and private landholders as well as advice on strategic management of problem wildlife scenarios.
