Background
Katrina received her basic training in Agricultural Science at the University of Sydney and her post graduate training at University of New England. From 1974 to 1989 she was employed by NSW Agriculture working in weed management in processing vegetables and rice, N & P in irrigated and dryland wheat with postings to Yanco, Richmond and Trangie. In 1989 to 2001 she was appointed to the Dairy research Unit at Wollongbar working in grazing and pasture management of warm temperate pastures for dairy cows.
In 2001 she was appointed Research Agronomist and in this current position at Wollongbar is conducting research in climate risk management and management of warm temperate pastures.
