Background

Simon Diffey joined NSW DPI as a biometrician in 2002. From 2002 to 2006 he provided biometrical support to NSW DPI researchers and the NSW Agricultural Genomics Centre.

In 2007 Simon commenced a full-time PhD through the Australian National University with the financial support of NSW DPI and GRDC. The purpose of his PhD is to find a more efficient method for identifying quantitative trait loc (QTL).
