The NSW Department of Primary Industries undertakes science and research to enhance the growth, sustainability and biosecurity of the State's primary industries. Recent developments are reported in the updates below. These are also provided in the form of a monthly eNewsletter.

NSW DPI scientists vie for Eureka Prizes
24 Jul 2008 NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) Director-General, Richard Sheldrake, today announced that three NSW DPI scientists are finalists in the prestigious Australian Museum Eureka Prizes.

Bee industry supports research into new parasite disease
04 Jul 2008 NSW DPI researchers have received funding to investigate a new microsporidian parasite (Nosema ceranae) in honeybees.

NRM database adopted by other agencies
