Rural Women's Network
The Rural Women's Network (RWN) is a state-wide government program within the Department of Primary Industries (part of Trade & Investment, Regional Infrastructure and Services).
The RWN works in innovative ways to share information and promote action on rural women's issues, often in partnership with individuals, groups and non-government and government agencies. More about us.
The Rural Women's Network offers a FREE email subscription list to anyone wanting to receive regular items of interest relevant to the rural sector. It is as simple as completing the on-line form with your name and email address.
Nominate a friend, family member, colleague, community worker - any rural women who you believe makes your community a better place.
Danica Leys has won the 2012 NSW/ACT RIRDC Rural Women's Award. Runner-up is Corinne Annetts, a boutique goat farmer, from Uralla.
Good fire women! Many women form part of the NSW Rural Fire Service 'volunteer army' and you can find many of them in last year's 2011 Hidden Treasures Honour Roll.
