Daniel is a Fisheries Scientist at the Narrandera Fisheries Centre (NFC). Previously a Postdoctoral Researcher studying aquaculture-environment interactions at the Institute of Marine Research in Norway, he now explores ways to improve fisheries management in the Murray-Darling Basin. He currently works on projects investigating how riverine fish communities respond to environmental flow delivery and to what extent freshwater mussels cope with extreme summer conditions. His research involves collaborations with universities as well as other government research institutions, and the co-supervision of postgraduate students.
