Jerom Stocks is a Fisheries Scientist based at the Batemans Bay Fisheries Office. Jerom has worked for NSW Fisheries since 2008 within both marine and freshwater ecosystem research. Jerom began his career studying the biology of marine fishes; he completed his PhD in 2015 which examined the biology of Rock blackfish Girella elevata across a latitudinal gradient. Jerom currently works within the Freshwater Ecosystems research group focusing on threatened species recovery, the National Carp Control Plan and coordinates a number of fish community monitoring projects.
