Alison Hamilton (nee McIntosh) has a strong rural background and a passion for the beef industry.

Residing near Wagga Wagga in the NSW Riverina, along with raising a small family, Alison juggles her time between managing her beef cattle consulting and training business, AJM Livestock Solutions, and running a small trading herd of cattle with her husband.

Alison’s career has taken a number of paths from working for Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) in the area of project management and member services, to being strongly involved during the early days of the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS), to also working for TAFE NSW as a teacher in the rural industries sector.

Founded in 2008 AJM Livestock Solutions is Alison’s platform for helping beef producers improve their efficiency.

In particular Alison helps producers to seek out new market opportunities and to better use technology within the daily management of their operation.
