Kate Schwager lives at Wee Waa in the North West region of NSW and is a devoted community development professional. She has experience dealing with businesses, community, researchers, and people from diverse backgrounds.

In a previous role as the Community Officer at Cotton Catchment Communities Cooperative Research Centre, Kate organised three successful Sustaining Rural Communities conferences in which she attracted over $100 000 of sponsorship.

As well as her community work, Kate has operated her home based business for over 12 years designing and developing websites for small and large businesses both locally and Australia wide. In 2006-8 Kate was a finalist in the Regional Business Awards.

Her business, Kates On Web, has an office in Wee Waa and more than 60 clients spanning a wide range of industries and businesses.

In the last few years she has expanded her operations to include marketing and advertising through social media and an online business directory.
