Robbie has a dual investment in rural Australia as a farmer and as the managing director of strategic communications company Sefton & Associates. She uses her drive and passion in the service of Australia’s rural, regional and remote communities.
As a graduate of the Australian Rural Leadership Program and a RIRDC NSW Rural Woman of the Year, Robbie has a long history in advocating for rural, regional and remote Australia. She carries out this work through the business as well as the numerous boards and advisory groups she sits on. Robbie is currently the Deputy Chairman of the National Australia Day Council.
Robbie has provided strategic advice and expertise to corporate and government leaders for many major projects that have helped to shape the face of rural Australia, including the National Biodiversity Strategy, the Water for the Future program, the National Farmers’ Federation’s Blueprint for Australian Agriculture and the Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources’ Competitiveness White Paper.
She is known and respected by farmers, agribusiness, Ministers, and people at all levels in between.
