Background

Kristy commenced work with the Department in 1998 as part of the livestock production team at the Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute and has since worked at both the WWAI and Cowra Agricultural Research Advisory Station. Over the past 20 years she has gained extensive experience in the design and running of field, animal house and laboratory experiments including sample collection, data analysis and method development.  At WWAI she is also Quality Assurance manager for the site’s Animal Nutrition laboratory as well as being site manager for the stations animal house facilities. She has been involved in many forage, silage and meat research projects and provides technical support to NSW DPI’s Feed Quality Service.
