Background

Tim Glasby is a Principal Research Scientist based at the Port Stephens Fisheries Institute. He is a marine ecologist with over 20 years experience working in temperate marine systems. Tim joined the Department in 2002 after working as an academic and an environmental consultant. Tim coordinates research on seagrass ecology and distribution, anthropogenic impacts on marine biodiversity and the impacts and control of marine pests. He also co-supervises Honours and PhD students. Tim is an adjunct professor in the School of the Environment, University of Technology, Sydney.
