Todd Andrews is currently Beef Development Officer – Beef Performance at the NSW DPI Beef Industries Centre Armidale and has a background in both research and extension. After completing a PhD in weed control in coastal beef pastures at UNE he worked with the Universities of Manitoba and Alberta in crop weed control, and later with Manitoba Agriculture as Provincial weed specialist.

Returning from Canada in 2003, Todd was a Research Agronomist at the Orange Agricultural Institute until 2005, when he was appointed as NSWDPI Livestock Beef Cattle Officer at Scone in the Hunter Valley. Since 2013 Todd has been involved in project work, (including climate change mitigation, beef market compliance), has delivered training courses in conjunction with Local Land Services, and is updating  NSW DPI Primefacts.
