Origin Harrow, Ottawa, Canada.
Robin × M.9 (1961).
Description Leaf: large, light green, partly upfolded and curled back, dullish.
Shape: oval with acute to attenuate tip and rounded base.
Margin: fine neat serrations.
Stipules: prominent, lanceolate to elliptical.
Shoot: greyish orange.
Vigour Dwarfing, similar to M.9 but slightly larger.
Propagation Difficult, harder than M.9.
Resistance Collar rot resistant. Woolly aphid and fireblight susceptible. Sensitive to tomato ring spot virus.
Uses Better anchored than M.9, highly productive potential, less brittle than M.9, used as an interstem. Not fully tested in Australia.
