M.9 × Common Antonovka (1954).
Description Leaf: large, shiny light green, slightly wavy edges.
Shape: ovate, attenuate tip and rounded base.
Margin: serrated, neat.
Stipules: small, smooth margins, inconspicuous.
Shoot: reddish green, straight.
Vigour Medium, similar to M.7.
Propagation Difficult.
Resistance Considerable resistance to collar rot. Hardy. Susceptible to woolly aphid and fireblight.
Uses Semi-intensive planting, not tested in Australia.
