The crucifer vegetables - cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, turnip and radish - may be attacked by a number of insects.
Some of these, such as cabbage white butterfly, cabbage moth and cabbage aphid, feed only on crop and weed plants of the family Cruciferae.
Others, such as Helicoverpa caterpillars and cutworms, feed on a wide range of plants.
