| Description: | A perennial tufted grass, the species being naturalised in parts of Queensland. It is especially adapted to cracking clay soils in summer rainfall areas. It is drought, flood and salt tolerant, but susceptible to frost. Although it is not a prolific seed producer under NSW conditions (very late flowering), it has the ability to thicken vegetatively. It has reasonable seedling vigour. |
