The RSPCA is an animal welfare organisation that has powers to enforce the provisions of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act in NSW. The RSPCA is a charity, and rely principally on funding from donations, bequests, memberships, investments and income from their trading operations.
The RSPCA has their head office based at Yagoona, near Bankstown in Sydney, and have inspectors in locations spread throughout NSW.
