Business Support Service Project
This project aims to provide dairy farmers with one on one support in essential areas of farm business financial management. NSW DPI have partnered with Dairy NSW by providing them with the funding to deliver the project in conjunction with Subtropical and Murray Dairy.
The one on one assistance will help farmers with knowledge and technical skills in financial management, planning and business analysis. This will help improve their business skills to achieve successful businesses now and into the future.
Consultants across the State have been engaged and can assist farmers in areas such as (but not limited to):
- Implementation of the Dairy Standard Chart of Accounts
- Using your accounting software more efficiently and effectively
- Budgeting
- Using DairyBase and interpretation of reports
Funding is also available for farmer groups where the activity has a farm business management focus.
