Summary

Eradication of footrot from a flock is a major undertaking, requiring technical input from veterinarians and industry experts, and extensive ongoing financial and labour commitments from the stock owner. Experience has shown that employing the services of an accredited footrot contractor makes a very significant difference to the length of time it takes for a flock to complete its footrot eradication program.
