Communique meeting 18 December 2017

The Biosecurity Advisory Committee (the Committee) held its fifteenth meeting on 18 December 2017, in Sydney.

At this meeting, the Committee considered and provided final comments on a revised draft of the inaugural State of Biosecurity Report, with the completion of the report late January 2018.

The Committee noted a draft discussion paper on proposed management of cane toads in NSW. They also discussed the NSW government’s response to the IGAB Review.

The Committee will again meet in March 2018 to continue its work to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of biosecurity across the State.
