The Drought Recovery Guide (3rd edition, October 2005) aims to assist producers to develop drought recovery strategies and to make other important management decisions. The information is designed to help producers who are moving into a period of drought recovery, as well as those who hope to do so in the near future.

The Guide comprises five main sections:

  • Section 1 - Planning
  • Section 2 - Pastures, crops and soils
  • Section 3 - Animal health
  • Section 4 - Restocking
  • Section 5 - Financial management
  • Appendixes
It can be downloaded in a single file (1.6 Mb) or in parts.

Part 1 contains: cover page, introduction, table of contents, disclaimers and Section 1 - Planning, Section 2 - Pastures, crops and soils.

Part 2 contains: Section 2 - Pastures, crops and soils continued, Section 3 - Animal health.

Part 3 contains: Section 4 - Restocking.

Part 4 contains: Section 5 - Financial management, Appendixes.
