Description:This course course is designed to implement and monitor an organisation's work health and safety (WHS) policies, procedures and programs in the relevant work area in order to meet legislative requirements.
Cost:Pre-approved applicants will be funded through the NSW AgSkilled training program.

Course program/structure:
  • Understand WHS legislative requirements and responsibilities
  • Keep your workplace safe - Manage hazards and risk
  • Encourage WHS participation
  • Implement safe systems at work and keep appropriate records including inductions, emergency planning, training records
Resources and method of delivery:One day interactive workshop. Includes post-course work to be completed and submitted for assessment within three months of attendance.

This course is mapped to the following national unit of competency, BSBWHS401 - Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements.
