To assist participants explore grazing management practices and develop a basic understanding of the interactions of management to animal production, pasture, soils and landscape

Learning outcomes:Identify grazing management effects on pasture dynamics including quantity and quality of feed, ground cover and biodiversity. Contrast affect on different species and how grazing management can affect animal performance
Length:4 hours
Course program/structure:

Course involves a mix of theory and in paddock components, including naturalised to highly improved pasture

Resources and method of delivery:

Participants are provided with a pasture recognition book. The course is face to face.
