|Course aim:||To assist participants to develop skills in the general maintenance, operation, safety and efficient working techniques of chainsaws for cross-cutting fallen timber.|
|Resources and method of delivery:||
Participants are provided with the Chainsaw Operator's manual 6th Edition, 101 colour pages with numerous diagrams and photos.
This course is delivered using both indoor and outdoor instruction.
|Accreditation||This course is mapped to the national unit of competency, AHCMOM213 - Operate and maintain chainsaws.|
*NOTE: This course requires a high level of physical fitness and manual dexterity. If you are unsure whether you meet these requirements, please talk to our short course coordinator before enrolment.
