Description:StockPlan® is an online learning tool to help farmers develop the strategies that suit their operation and that they feel comfortable with for times of drought. This online course guides you through the process of developing a drought risk management plan. This plan also includes  the post drought period in relation to changes in stock number and cash flow for a 5 year period.
Course aims:StockPlan® aims to assists farmers develop a drought risk management plan based on a mixture of strategies that allows you to increase your confidence that you will achieve your objectives.

  • Describe the drought history of your property, including climate and weather information
  • Determine the important issues confronting you during drought
  • Assess the risk of drought and climate outlook on your farm
