Specific Condition - Import Golden Perch

GPQLD - Class H Permit - Golden Perch broodstock from Qld

  1. The permit holder must ensure that Golden Perch broodstock imported from Queensland to the area within which the permit holder is authorised to undertake aquaculture are held in isolation (quarantine) from all other fish and waters on the area for two weeks from the time of arrival at the area.
  2. If any infections, mortalities or adverse health issues occur during the abovementioned two week quarantine period the permit holder must as soon as practicable report the infection, mortalities or adverse health issues to the department and ensure that the fish are not moved from quarantine.
  3. The permit holder must ensure that all transport and effluent water from the quarantine facility that contains the Golden Perch broodstock imported from Queensland is retained and treated with chlorine (200 ppt) for 24 hours prior to discharge.
  4. The permit holder must not release Golden Perch broodstock imported from Queensland or their progeny into NSW waters other than waters in the area within which the permit holder is authorised to undertake aquaculture.
  5. The permit holder must ensure that all Golden Perch broodstock imported from Queensland are sold dead.
