Baitfish working group

The use of live baitfish has long been recognised as an efficient way to catch tuna and tuna-like species such as marlin by both commercial and recreational fishers. The Baitfish working group has been established to review the arrangements relating to the collection of bait from NSW waters for use in commercial fisheries including the Commonwealth East Coast Tuna Fishery and the NSW Ocean Trap and Line Fishery.
