Free training workshops are being held during November 2017 to help fishers understand how to use the new online system. The workshops aim to provide fishers with an understanding of the online services available via FisherMobile (mobile device App) and FisherDirect (online computer based system).
These are the only training workshops scheduled. If you choose not to attend a workshop, you can access the user guides and video demonstrations available on the FishOnline page. If someone assists you with your reporting requirements and business transactions they are welcome to register and attend with you.
All fishers in quota managed fisheries should register for the FisherMobile App now to avoid the rush. You are encouraged to attend a training workshop as quota usage must be reported via FisherMobile from 1 December 2017.
