Daniel Swadling
Fisheries Scientist
Biography
Daniel Swadling is a Fisheries Scientist based at the Port Stephens Fisheries Institute.
His current research involves monitoring estuarine macrophytes in NSW and understanding how their distribution is influenced by humans and natural processes across various scales. This work is funded under the NSW Marine Estate Management Strategy and seeks to inform management and policies. Daniel completed his PhD at the University of Wollongong and is also involved with a diverse range of projects assessing fish movements and habitat-use, seascape connectivity and lobster diets.
