Dave Monks
Dave works in a team of citrus researchers and development staff in the Horticulture Group for the NSW DPI and is involved in all aspects of project management from original concept, development, industry liaison, funding applications, personnel management, delivery, analysis and interpretation.
Dave has always worked in the physiology of yield production including almond and citrus production, dry-land wheat production systems and legume seed production.

Citrus variety evaluation – helping growers to make decisions. The work includes propagation, multiplication, field grafting and budding, orchard management, and collecting data on the quality of each variety. This information is presented to the citrus industry as seminars, presentations, handouts, factsheets, and field walks.
