Biography

Steve is a senior research scientist with the Vertebrate Pest Research Unit.

He is a quantitative ecologist and has conducted numerous studies on the ecology of native and introduced animals, with an interest in their economic and environmental impacts. He has specific expertise modelling management strategies and scenarios and his recent work has focused on sustainable use of wildlife and the development of aerial survey methods.
