DPI has various laboratories, greenhouses and glass houses to support propagation and production activities. Processing and storage sheds are also available for lease along with office space.

Wollongbar Environmental Laboratory

The Wollongbar Environmental Laboratory provides analytical chemistry services for soil, water, plants, and a range of other matrices to support all primary industries and research services.

The Environmental Laboratory provides analytical chemistry services to support research and surveillance in livestock, cropping, horticultural, fisheries and water use applications. Working to support Local Land Services, departmental research, and external clients with analytical testing as well as project and method development. The laboratory service includes a comprehensive range of analytical tests to assess soil health, water quality, plant nutrition and environmental contaminants including heavy metal analysis for remediation work.

Wollongbar Environmental Laboratory operates a well-appointed testing facility that is ISO 17025 (NATA) accredited, ASPAC and WaterChek certified. For more details on the testing services available go to DPI Lab Services
