Market access industry advice
The status of plant pests and diseases in NSW and other states and territories changes frequently as new detections occur, pests spread or an eradication is effective. Changes to pest status require changes to legislation to assist in maintaining continued market access. Controls are put in place to minimise risks to production, the economy and the environment. Changes to legislation which impact producers and stakeholders are communicated by means of an industry advice.
Information provided in the industry advice is based on knowledge and understanding at the time of writing.
