Careers in agriculture
TARC may undertake student internships and can collaborate with tertiary students on project based tasks across a broad range of fields including digital agriculture, chemistry,entomology, plant pathology and animal behaviour. Industry and workforce support
The TARC hosts direct industry information and outreach activities on site . This includes supporting fellow agency events such as:
- Central West LLS advisory and services activities;
- DPI programs such as the Farm Business Resilience Program; and,
- DPI supported producer training for courses such as Chemical Handling
Career and workforce opportuntities
TARC is commencing the DPI traineeship program known as Agricultural Pathways Program . The Program is a two-year employment opportunity with the NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI).
