Agtech Training Program


The Farms of the Future training courses equip farmers with the knowledge and tools to identify Agtech and connectivity solutions that fit their specific needs. These courses also provide an opportunity to assess farm operations and develop a personalised Monitoring Plan designed to improve efficiency.

Current available education courses include:

Our current education offering will continue to expand to provide online video, audio and written content that dives into real-life use cases of Agtech. It will showcase farmers that have successfully implemented a variety of Agtech and connectivity solutions on their farm and the key learnings on their Agtech adoption journey. Our Agtech Specialists will host training videos providing explanations of Agtech devices, connectivity options and practical advice relating to selecting the best solution for your farm operation.

Collaborate with us for Agtech Training Events

The Farms of the Future team is pleased to offer partnerships with farmer groups, grower associations, industry organisations, and government departments interested in hosting Agtech Training Events at their locations.

By collaborating with our team, you can provide your members with access to expert-led training designed to enhance their understanding and adoption of agricultural technologies and improving on-farm connectivity. These events are tailored to meet the specific needs of your community, ensuring relevant and impactful learning experiences.

Agtech Fundamentals Training Course

The “Monitoring your farm with Agtech” course is available online or face-to-face and is a great introduction for those looking at taking the first step in learning about Agtech.

The course focuses on the process of developing a farm business Monitoring Plan including a farm map, identification of pain points and addressing connectivity and Agtech device needs.

Monitoring Plans act as a tool to assist farmers in finding farm connectivity and Agtech device solutions.

The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:

  • Farm planning with Agtech
  • Identifying what Agtech solutions are available
  • Understanding connectivity needs
  • The benefits of monitoring a farm with Agtech

This training is a valuable opportunity for farmers to review the needs of their properties and establish the know-how to plan and integrate optimal connectivity and Agtech on their farms.
