Aboriginal coastal heritage assets

Aboriginal cultural heritage assets (coastal middens, burial sites and other environmental cultural assets) have been impacted by the floods with some threatened due to erosion of riverbanks. This physical damage can also have significant intrinsic cultural impacts on the Aboriginal community and their connection to these places and features.
