Assessing the impact of road crossings on fish passage
The following documents were produced through the Reducing the impact of road crossings on environmental flows, water quality and fish passage in coastal NSW project. The project was funded by the NSW Environmental Trust Program and results are presented in separate reports for the coastal Catchment Management Authority (now Local Land Services [LLS]) regions.
An audit of all fish passage barriers (weirs, roads and other structures) in the Sydney Metropolitan CMA region (now greater Sydney LLS) was undertaken as part of a separate project funded by the Natural Heritage Trust and entitled “Reviewing and Restoring Fish Passage in Urbanised Waterways, Sydney Catchments. Report to the Sydney Metropolitan Catchment Management Authority”.
Please note that some structures listed in all reports will no longer be acting as fish passage barriers as they have been addressed over time.
